In Natěrač, Jane's affair is threatened when her lover's wife, Marcia, seeks revenge. To avert scandal, Jane convinces Walter, the building painter, to impersonate her husband. Walter, who is an enthusiastic amateur actor, seizes the opportunity to showcase his talent, leading to a whirlwind of comedic misunderstandings.
