Natsume's Book of Friends the Movie: Ephemeral Bond

This film follows Natsume as he navigates his relationships with both humans and Yokai. He unexpectedly reunites with an old classmate, Yuki, sparking memories linked to a specific Yokai. Additionally, Natsume befriends Yorie Tsumura, who holds memories of a Yokai that Natsume has returned. This connection brings comfort to Natsume, especially as he discovers a mysterious Yokai lurking in their town.

As the story unfolds, a curious event occurs when a Yokai seed attaches to Nyanko Sensei, resulting in a bizarre fruit tree. When Nyanko Sensei consumes a fruit shaped like himself, he splits into three distinct forms. The film combines elements of slice of life with supernatural occurrences, showcasing the intricate relationships between humans and Yokai in a rural setting.
