Natural Selection is one of those quirky 90s flicks that blends horror, mystery, and sci-fi. Directed by Jack Sholder, it’s got a unique vibe that’s almost a throwback to Twilight Zone episodes. The whole idea of a guy meeting his doppelgänger really digs into themes of identity and existential dread. It’s not super flashy, but the practical effects hold up surprisingly well, especially when you consider the budget. Ben’s slow descent into paranoia is nicely paced, and the performances from the cast, particularly from the guy playing the double, add a layer of bizarre intensity. It’s just a solid watch if you're into the weird side of 90s cinema.
