Nha Mila

Nha Mila tells the story of Salomé, who returns to her homeland after fourteen years to see her dying brother. During her layover at Lisbon airport, she encounters Águeda, a cleaning lady who recognizes her as her childhood friend Mila. Águeda invites Salomé to her home, where the women of her family welcome her.

As Salomé spends time in the neighborhood, she embarks on a spiritual journey that deepens her connection to her roots. This short film captures the essence of returning home and the emotional ties that bind individuals to their past.
