Nitro Rush has this gritty feel, right? It’s like you’re thrown into a world that’s dark and intense, with Max’s desperation just palpable. The pacing keeps you on edge—one minute he’s breaking out of prison, the next he’s racing against time to save his son. You get this real sense of urgency throughout, and the performances add to that. Max, played with raw intensity, contrasts sharply with the charming yet dangerous Daphne, who’s a classic femme fatale. Not a lot of CGI here, which gives the action sequences a certain rawness that’s refreshing. This film is pretty distinctive for its underbelly exploration of crime and the bond between father and son, layered with twists that keep you guessing.
