Noble Tasuke

The film begins in October of 1624 with the newly appointed Shogun Iemitsu visiting the revered Kan-ei temple. The visit is interrupted when a child runs into the street, risking execution for her reckless act. Isshin Tasuke steps forward, willing to risk his life to save her, establishing himself as a heroic figure in Japanese cinema.

As Tasuke's adventures unfold, his striking resemblance to Shogun Iemitsu complicates matters, leading to intricate plots involving the struggles within the Shogun's Ruling Council.
