Nordhavets mænd

The story follows Sigurd, the son of a feared consul, who cannot pursue his love due to her mother's heritage. In a desperate bid, he stows away on the ship "Vesle Kari" heading towards Greenland's icy west. Tragedy strikes when the ship sinks, leaving only Sigurd and another young man, Lorens, to survive.
