Nuclear Gypsies

The story follows Barbara, a dancer returning to Nagoya after a long absence. She finds herself in a challenging environment filled with conflict and emotional turmoil as she navigates the lives of the Okinawan inhabitants around her.

Barbara's return is marked by her brother and friends taking a drastic action by holding a teacher hostage to fund a school trip. Her relationship with Miyazato, a yakuza involved in the nuclear power industry, adds another layer of tension, especially as he has forced her best friend Aiko into a dire situation.
