O Abhagi

The narrative follows Abhagi, a poor village woman navigating life after being abandoned by her husband. Living with her son Kangali in a small mud hut, she faces the struggles of poverty and societal neglect. As Abhagi's health declines, she shares her final wishes with her son, focusing on traditional rites that highlight her longing for acceptance and dignity.

Based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyaya's short story 'Abhagir Swargo', O Abhagi captures the essence of historical storytelling.
