Set in the imaginative Round Kingdom, Prince Emanuel faces a dilemma when his mother, the queen, decides it is time for him to marry. Introduced to the chubby princess Emilka as a bride, he finds himself enamored with the slender princess Anna instead. Emilka, unable to accept this rejection, casts a spell that transforms Anna into a budgie, leaving the prince heartbroken and desperate.

As Prince Bečka mourns the loss of his beloved, he neglects his passion for food and begins to lose weight. The film explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the struggle against evil magic.
