Oldtimer

The film centers on Igor, a journalist and DJ at "Radio Student" in Ljubljana, who discovers that the janitor, Miha, is spying on him and his colleagues for the police. Frustrated with the oppressive regime, Igor decides to embark on a journey to Greece on his vintage DKW motorcycle from 1938, taking a trip through Bosnia and Serbia.

Joining Igor is young Rahela, who becomes part of this significant road trip. As they travel through Yugoslavia, they encounter the unfolding chaos of Milosevic's "antibureaucratic revolution," which adds unexpected challenges to their journey. Oldtimer blends elements of personal struggle with historical context, making it a unique piece of storytelling that reflects a pivotal moment in the region's history.
