One Dollar Curry

The plot follows Nishan, a young Sikh man from India, who travels to Paris in pursuit of love. He faces obstacles in his relationship with Yamini, a Hindu woman whose family disapproves of their union. In Paris, Nishan attempts to make a living by opening a curry stand, guided by Fixer, a Jamaican immigrant. Unfortunately, his cooking skills leave much to be desired, threatening his entrepreneurial dreams.

Nishan's luck seems to change when he meets Nathalie, who unknowingly appreciates his poor culinary skills and offers him a position as her live-in chef. Their relationship develops, but complications arise when Yamini visits, just as Nishan must prepare a gourmet meal for discerning guests. The film uses humor to highlight the absurdities of cultural clashes and the challenges of immigrant life.
