One Husband Too Many

The story follows theater enthusiast Sun, portrayed by Anthony Chan, who sells his home to produce a rendition of Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately, his ambitious venture fails, leading to personal troubles as his wife, played by Anita Mui, quietly leaves him. Meanwhile, his friend Wa, played by Kenny Bee, faces similar marital issues as his wife grows frustrated with his workaholic tendencies.

As the narrative unfolds, Sun's fortunes take a turn when he produces a successful play starring wealthy girl Hung, played by Cherie Chung. The new relationship brings hope for Sun, but complications arise as Wa also becomes interested in Hung, creating a rivalry that adds to the comedic tension.
