Otherland

The documentary follows the lives of Movlat, Ismail, and Ali, three men who emigrated from Ingushetia, the smallest region of Russia. Their shared nationality connects them, but their paths in Poland diverge as they pursue their dreams. Movlat teaches Caucasian dancing, Ismail finds success as a boxer, and Ali expresses himself through dance.

Running for 76 minutes, Otherland provides an intimate look at the challenges and triumphs faced by these men as they adapt to life in a new country. The film highlights their cultural backgrounds while showcasing their individual aspirations. It's a poignant exploration of identity, ambition, and the immigrant experience in Poland.
