Our Father

Our Father centers on Ovadia Rachmim, who is the strongest and most violent doorman at Tel Aviv night clubs. He and his wife, Rachel, have been trying to conceive for five years. When a small-time gangster named Shalom offers him a lucrative job as a debt collector, Ovadia sees a chance to finance expensive fertility treatments for Rachel.

As Rachel's pregnancy progresses, Ovadia decides to leave the criminal world behind. However, Shalom has other plans and requires Ovadia for a critical mission that puts him in a position to betray his closest friends. The film highlights the harsh realities Ovadia faces as he navigates the difficult choices that come with becoming a father, ultimately questioning the cost of his ambition and the definition of loyalty.
