Our House

The documentary follows Dan Taylor on his first day out of prison, facing a life-altering decision between returning to drug addiction or seeking a better path. Through a chance meeting with Derek, a young Christian anarchist, Dan is invited to join a unique community called "Our House." This alternative living arrangement offers a safe haven for the homeless, allowing residents to live communally in an abandoned warehouse, providing more than just shelter.

As Dan adjusts to his new environment, he discovers friendship, nourishment, and a spiritual refuge within a makeshift prayer tent. However, the community faces an impending crisis when the building is scheduled for demolition to make way for luxury condominiums. The film poignantly captures the emotional struggles of Dan and his fellow residents as they confront the uncertain future of their community and their individual journeys toward healing and stability.
