Our War

The documentary captures footage from the Pokrovsk and Soumy fronts in eastern Ukraine between February and April 2025. Filmmakers Bernard-Henri Lévy and Marc Roussel document the lives of the Anne de Kyiv Brigade fighters and the civilians enduring the bombardments from Russian forces. Through interviews, including one with President Zelenskyy, the film provides insight into the realities faced by Ukrainians amidst ongoing negotiations and conflict.

Our War serves as the concluding part of Lévy’s “Ukrainian Quartet.” It presents a raw portrayal of resilience and courage through the eyes of both fighters and civilians, emphasizing their daily struggles and the emotional weight of the war that has persisted since 2014. With a runtime of 78 minutes, this documentary is a significant exploration of contemporary history and the human spirit in the face of adversity. The film is available to collectors on DVD.
