Out of Evil

The film tells the story of Yosef, a math student at the Hebrew University, who recounts his parents' journey to establish the Beit Gilboa kibbutz. Yaakov and Chava immigrated to Israel and navigated the complexities of communal living, facing opposition while trying to maintain their love and family life.

As they worked hard and celebrated their culture through dance and song, they encountered challenges that tested their resolve. The narrative highlights their eventual return to Germany and the tragic fate that befell them, juxtaposed with their son's survival and return to the kibbutz.
