Outer Dark

In Outer Dark, Rinthy Holme gives birth to her brother Culla's child, only for Culla to abandon the baby in the woods while lying to Rinthy about its fate. The child is rescued by a wandering tinker, prompting Rinthy to embark on a desperate search once she learns the truth. Meanwhile, Culla sets out to find her, leading to a series of encounters with a sinister trio of vagrants and peculiar local characters.
