Oxidan is an interesting blend of comedy and a touch of drama. The premise revolves around Aslan, whose fiancée, Negar, takes off abroad without a word. It sets this frantic, almost absurd journey in motion as he scrambles to obtain a visa and chase after her. The pacing has this frantic energy, mirroring Aslan's desperation, which keeps things engaging. The performances add depth, with a mix of humor and sincerity that feels quite relatable. The atmosphere is light yet tinged with the underlying stress of their situation. Not a lot of bells and whistles here, mostly practical effects and a straightforward visual style, but it's that simplicity that makes the characters and their arcs stand out.
Focus on character-driven humor · Interesting exploration of desperation · Light visual style with practical effects
