Pakodate-jin

The film follows Hikaru Hino, a high school student in Hakodate, who wakes up one morning to discover she has grown a tail. This unusual situation complicates her relationship with classmate Hayato, forcing her to cancel their first date. To help lift her spirits, Hikaru's sister creates a fake tail, leading to a series of adventures around town. However, a reporter captures their antics, igniting a frenzy in Hakodate as the tale of the tails spreads.

As the story unfolds, the arrival of another tail-bearer, Mr. Yoshida, escalates the situation into a town-wide incident.
