Papilio

The film follows František Cepl, a young man from a modest background, as he navigates life during the occupation. Initially aspiring to study technology, he finds himself working as a factory assistant. Here, he meets Telec, known as Hrabě, a man whose disdain for work and reckless lifestyle contrasts sharply with František's youthful ideals.

Telec, a character marked by his individualism, serves as a corrupting influence on František, who is referred to as Papilio, meaning butterfly.
