So, 'Parked' is this understated drama that really digs into loneliness and connection. Fred Daly, played by an actor whose name escapes me, is a middle-aged guy who finds himself living in his car back in Ireland. It’s somber but not completely bleak. Then he meets Cathal, a young guy with a carefree attitude and a penchant for weed, and suddenly there’s this odd friendship. The dynamic shifts when they both get close to Jules, a music teacher who brings some light into their lives. The pacing is gentle, almost meditative at times. It captures a slice of life that feels very authentic, like you're peeking into these characters’ vulnerabilities. The performances are solid, especially the chemistry among them, which is what really stands out.
