Party

The film follows Rogério, a young man from a wealthy background, and his wife Leonor as they host a garden party at their villa on S. Miguel in the Azores. The gathering includes an older couple, Irene and Michel, whose conversations reveal tensions and desires among the guests. As the evening progresses, themes of seduction and despair unfold, leading to a deeper examination of each character's intentions.

Five years later, the four characters reunite for dinner at the villa, and the dynamics shift once again. Michel and Leonor's interactions provide a contrast to the discussions shared by Rogério and Irene. The film's narrative structure, divided into two acts marked by changing weather, highlights the emotional currents that run through the characters' lives.
