The story follows Zaatar, a thief employed by Zaghloul, the owner of an import and export company. Zaatar is exploited by Zaghloul, who forces him to smuggle goods from customs. As Zaatar's relationship with Siham, the sister of officer Mohammed, develops, he begins to assert his independence and challenges Zaghloul's authority.
