People Who Love Each Other

The narrative follows Jean-Francois and Angie, who have known each other for 25 years and have had an on-and-off romantic relationship. After Angie's return to Jean-Francois post-marriages and children, she announces her plans to leave for the United States. This decision leads Jean-Francois to reflect on their time together, knowing he cannot change her mind.

As the story progresses, five years later, Jean-Francois develops a friendship with Angie's daughter, Winnie. She navigates her own romantic entanglements, particularly with Laurent, a carefree artist. Their relationship becomes complicated as Winnie struggles with trust issues after their intimate encounter. Meanwhile, Angie continues to appear in Jean-Francois' life intermittently, adding layers to their shared history.
