Picture Pirates

In Picture Pirates, Rube and Ben, whose wives work as waitresses, become involved in a comedic plot when they attempt to steal a valuable painting. The story kicks off when an art collector acquires a rare picture, only to be approached by a con artist dubbed the 'picture pirate.' After a series of misadventures, Rube and Ben's attempts to pickpocket the pirate result in an invitation to join him in his scheme.

The film showcases the antics of Rube Miller, Ben Turpin, and their comedic cohorts, including Lillian Hamilton and Paddy McGuire. Their misguided efforts to steal the painting lead to various humorous situations, including the characters consuming poisoned whiskey. The film culminates in a twist where the picture pirate mistakenly believes he has acquired the original painting from Rube and Ben.
