Přijdu hned

The story follows Václav Barvínek, a stuffed animal dealer who spends a day in prison over a petty dispute. Upon his release, he learns about his uncle's will, which mentions a hidden check for a million crowns. If not cashed by a specific time, the money will go to charity. As relatives loot the estate, Barvínek discovers only an abandoned Saint Bernard remains.

Throughout the film, Barvínek grapples with his humble life, unaware of the wealth that could change his fortunes. Instead, he finds himself entangled in comedic misunderstandings, particularly regarding his affections for a girl whose friendliness he misinterprets. The film showcases a blend of humor and heart, appealing to fans of classic Czech cinema and comedies from the early 1940s.
