Pista Dankó

The film follows Pista Dankó, a gifted violinist who finds himself entangled in a love triangle involving Ilonka Jáky and Rózsi, a wild gypsy girl. After marrying Ilonka and facing difficult circumstances, Pista's pursuit of his lost violin, now owned by a Russian prince, leads him on a journey to Russia. Here, he encounters Rózsi again, who has transformed into a celebrated dancer, reigniting old feelings and complicating his life further.

As Pista battles illness, the story unfolds with emotional depth, culminating in a poignant moment when he receives a package from Rózsi during his final hours. The film explores the impact of love and the haunting presence of past relationships, making it a significant entry in the genre.
