Pájaros rojos

The narrative follows Graciela, an artist and poet, and her relationship with Julio, a student leader committed to social justice. As the political climate worsens, their friendship faces dangers, culminating in their kidnapping by the dictatorship. Graciela's mother becomes involved with the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, a group fighting for justice and seeking to uncover the fate of their missing children.

Years later, Graciela's mother publishes a collection of her daughter's poems, leading her to reconnect with Flecha, a musician inspired by Graciela's words.
