Playing Hard tells the stories of three women facing the devastating effects of alcohol. Dorota, a prosecutor, uses her position to evade accountability for her actions while under the influence. Her husband, a politician, initially aids her but begins to lose patience as her behavior escalates.

Teresa, a respected children's surgeon, faces the fallout of her addiction after losing her family. Her job at the hospital becomes her only refuge until a drunken episode threatens her career. Magda, a student with a promising future, enjoys a party lifestyle without opposition until a tragic event forces her to confront her choices.
