Please Be Normal

The story follows Victor, a playwright and theater director facing financial struggles while preparing for the arrival of his first child with his girlfriend, Mary. Victor takes a construction job to support them, but the physical demands of the work take a toll on him. Meanwhile, Mary, who works as a manager at a high-end boutique, is supported by her wealthy father, who continues to provide for their growing needs.

As they prepare to leave their bohemian Brooklyn apartment for suburban life, Victor's feelings of entrapment intensify.
