Plötzlich Opa

The film follows thirteen-year-old Jonas Ettenberger, who moves in with his grandfather after the death of his parents in a traffic accident. Struggling to adapt to the rural Bavarian lifestyle and dialect, Jonas finds solace in his friendship with classmate Julia Stelzer. Meanwhile, his uncle Harald Messner schemes to gain custody of Jonas for financial benefit, despite Jonas forming a bond with his grandfather Ludwig and housekeeper Rosi.
