Pocong vs Kuntilanak

This film features a storyline that begins with Raden Soekotjo, who is infatuated with Nyi Soroh. However, Nyi has married a Dutch sea captain, Von Klingen, which leads Raden to commit a tragic act of violence. His actions awaken Nyi’s Kuntilanak spirit guardian, resulting in a chilling confrontation.

As Raden goes after Von Klingen, he finds himself pursued by the Kuntilanak. The tension escalates when Raden learns the consequences of his actions. His refusal to have his pocong shroud undone ties him to the supernatural realm, making for a compelling horror narrative that intertwines Indonesian folklore with personal vendetta.
