Polly Redhead

Polly Redhead tells the story of a young girl with striking red hair who dedicates herself to keeping her baby brother, affectionately known as "The Lump," from being sent to a poorhouse. To support her brother, Polly takes on housework and prepares meals for attorney John Ruffin and Hon. Gedge-Tompkins.

The plot thickens when Ruffin's sister, Lady Osterly, visits and is taken aback by Polly's resemblance to her own separated child. This similarity leads to a scheme involving Polly as a substitute for Lady Osterly's daughter, showcasing the film's themes of deception and familial bonds.
