Ponga Pandit

The film follows Neelkanth Pandey and Shambhu Nath as they arrange marriages for their children, Bhagwantiprasad and Parvati. After Shambhu moves to Bombay, Neelkanth remains in Haridwar. Years later, as the children grow up, complications arise when Parvati, now calling herself Pamela, wishes to marry a singer named Rocky, much to her father's dismay.

Bhagwanti is determined to honor his family's wishes and tries to win back Parvati by moving to Bombay. This decision leads to a series of events that alter the course of his life.
