"Pool" tells the story of five individuals who gather around a small pool in Chiang Mai. The narrative unfolds over six days, focusing on Kyoko, who has lived in Thailand for four years, and her daughter Sayo, who visits her mother just before graduating from university.

Through their emotional encounters with locals and each other, Sayo's initial mixed feelings about her mother begin to shift. The film captures the complexities of their relationship against the backdrop of Thailand's vibrant culture.
