This film follows retired Commissioner Vašátko as he is drawn back into the world of crime when a young man is murdered after a night out. The investigation is complicated by the involvement of a teenage artist, Zbyněk, and his overbearing father, businessman Bouzek. Vašátko and his friend, painter Horác, discover crucial evidence that leads them to uncover the truth behind the murder.
