Premeditated Murder

Set in early 1990s Belgrade during the conflict between Serbia and Croatia, Premeditated Murder follows Jelena Panic, a young woman compiling her grandmother's wartime diaries. She becomes involved with Bogdan, a soldier healing from his injuries, who aids her in unraveling her grandmother's past.

The narrative intertwines Jelena's quest for understanding her family's history with the harsh realities of war. It features a tragic love triangle involving her grandmother, her husband, and a Chekist major, who has the potential to alter the fate of a political prisoner. As Jelena grapples with her grandmother's legacy, Bogdan faces his own choices about duty and survival in a war-torn landscape.
