Princess Cyd

The film follows Cyd Loughlin, a high school athlete living with her depressed father in South Carolina. When her aunt, a famous novelist, invites her to spend the summer, Cyd sees this as a chance to escape her routine and explore her identity.

During her stay, Cyd develops a romantic interest in a girl from the neighborhood. This relationship unfolds alongside her deepening connection with her aunt, as both challenge and support each other amidst personal struggles.
