Project 22

Project 22 follows two combat-wounded veterans, Daniel J. Egbert and Rocky Bleier, as they embark on a 6,500-mile motorcycle journey from San Francisco to New York. Throughout their ride, they engage with fellow veterans to discuss the post-war challenges that contribute to the alarming statistic of twenty-two veterans committing suicide each day.

The documentary highlights alternative therapeutic approaches, including sailing, pottery, education, and the use of service dogs. Daniel and Doc also speak with mental health professionals and researchers to gain insights into Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress. Their mission not only seeks to raise awareness but also fosters conversations about healing and resilience within the veteran community.
