The film follows Lee Hyun, who is burdened by her father's debts to the mob after his death. As a college student left with few options, she becomes a nightclub hostess to pay off the debt. Just before she can escape this life, she enrolls in a job training center where she meets others in similar predicaments.

As Hyun and her friends graduate together, they find themselves with limited opportunities and eventually end up at an East Coast nightclub. Here, Hyun meets Sang Won and grapples with her feelings for him while dealing with her complicated past. The film delves into her internal conflict about revealing her history and the choices she faces regarding love and survival.
