Puppet Fiction

The film revolves around the comedy theater "Cabaret Toujour" where Kalle, the star of the show, entertains a lively audience. However, backstage chaos ensues as Richy deals with the crook Spec to provide Kalle with stimulants. Meanwhile, the struggling "Theater der Freude" is in dire straits, unable to attract patrons. In a desperate move, Kasper hatches a plan to kidnap Kalle and demand a ransom from his theater mates to clear their debts.
