Pyro-Sonata

The film follows Kim Myung-wu, who is studying modern music in Germany. He encounters Ji-suk, a talented pianist, who disappears on the day of his recital to secure money for her mother's medical treatment. This leads to a month of silence between them, culminating in a series of dramatic events following her mother's funeral.

As the story unfolds, a fire in the village reveals Ji-suk's struggles and her desperate actions to cope with her situation. She plays the piano amidst the flames, embodying the emotional turmoil she faces. The tension escalates as she seeks revenge against the store owner she blames for her mother's death, igniting a fire that leads to significant consequences. Myung-wu's role becomes crucial as he helps Ji-suk evade the police, and together they complete the Pyro-Sonata, a haunting reflection of their intertwined fates.
