Quicksilver has this raw energy that captures the grit of '80s San Francisco. It's not your typical action film; it's more about the characters finding themselves in the chaos of life. Kevin Bacon's performance as Jack Casey is solid, really channels that sense of loss and redemption. The bike chases have a practical feel, giving a nice contrast to the stock market scene's sterile vibe. The supporting cast, including Jami Gertz as Terri, adds depth to the story, making it more than just a series of stunts. It's also got that classic synth-driven score that really sets the tone throughout. A bit of a cult thing now but worth checking out for its unique take on the urban adventure genre.
