Ærø i Påsken

The film follows Frederikke, a kidney patient who longs to become a mother. As Easter approaches, she plans to confront her brother about the kidney he promised her during childhood. However, her brother arrives with his pregnant girlfriend, complicating Frederikke's request and bringing old family wounds to light.

With a runtime of just 22 minutes, Ærø i Påsken packs an emotional punch, exploring themes of illness, longing, and familial relationships.
