Raiders of Atlantis

The film features a plot where a team of scientists attempts to raise a sunken Russian nuclear submarine off the coast of Miami, Florida. Their efforts lead to the discovery of an ancient Atlantean relic, which inadvertently triggers the re-emergence of Atlantis. As a result, a tidal wave destroys their platform, leaving a small group of survivors amid chaos.

The survivors are rescued by two Vietnam veterans who find themselves on a Caribbean island, only to discover that it has been ravaged by a group of armed raiders. These raiders are descendants of Atlantis, led by a character named Crystal Skull, who aims to reclaim their lost power and eliminate the survivors. The film is packed with action sequences, including the use of hand grenades, crossbows, and flamethrowers, making it a notable entry in the action genre from the 1980s.
