Rajat Jayanti

The film follows the simple-minded Rajat, played by P.C. Barua, who is in love with his neighbor Jayanti. He receives advice on courting her from his cousin Bishwanath and friend Samir. Their antics involve trying to persuade Rajat's miserly guardian Bagalcharan to loan them money for a European-style art film.

As the story unfolds, Bagalcharan finds himself at a clinic, where he encounters two professional crooks who have their own schemes.
