Raya Among the Clouds

Set in 2005, the film follows third-grader Raya Carpio as she confronts stage fright and societal judgment during a school family showcase. The narrative delves into Raya's struggles with her unconventional family dynamics, particularly her hesitation to invite her mother, Sabel, to Family Day.

With the support of her friend Makoy, Raya attempts to communicate her feelings through heartfelt messages sent via paper airplanes. Although her plan does not go as expected, a meaningful trip ultimately strengthens the bond between mother and daughter. The film captures the essence of family love and the importance of communication in overcoming emotional barriers.
