Residual Risk

The story follows Katja Wernecke, played by Ulrike Folkerts, who is a nuclear security expert. When a fire breaks out in the reactor she oversees, she becomes embroiled in a cover-up while the government deliberates on extending the reactor's usage license.

As the situation escalates, PR man Steffen Stratmann, portrayed by Matthias Koeberlin, is tasked with repairing the company's reputation. However, the situation spirals out of control when a nuclear meltdown forces the evacuation of two million people. With the stakes raised, Wernecke returns to the disaster zone to uncover the truth behind the incident.
